2010 here we come!
We thank the Lord for keeping us through the year 2009. We would like to welcome you to this wonderful issue 1, Volume 10 of MICA Bulletin. Again, we have not forgotten the goals of this newsletter; which are to educate, inform, enlighten and entertain the members of the church with information pertaining to the church. This is our supreme goal and we shall continue to be guided by it.
This year we promise to make sure that you get your newsletter for free every month. We pray that the Lord may continue to provide us with all the necessary resources which are required in the production of MICA Bulletin. All our members, nomatter where they are, have to stay informed about what’s happening in the church.
We have to apologise for the competition that we ran in the previous issue of MICA Bulletin. We could not access the mails which were send to us by various members, because our post office box was closed while the competition was still running. In redress, we shall run the competition again in our next issue. So the scholarship program is postponed. We will run the competition, once we have secured a box at the post office.
This year we are dreaming big, as MICA Bulletin. We have expansion plans, which we are looking foward to implement. We want to increase our print run, we want to recruit more writers for MICA Bulletin. Our aim is to have at least one reporter in every branch. If God permits, we are going to recruit some of the writers at the April conference. We are pleased to inform you that a member of our editorial team has been tasked with the challenging work of translating and proofreading a Christian website from English into Shona. This editorial member has done the job excellently, and now the website is available in Shona. This shows how competitive the members of MICA Bulletin’s editorial board are.
